Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist for a part-time role (10–20 hours/week) in a compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health organization in Thomaston, GA.

Position Overview: Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment oversight for adult and adolescent clients in IOP/PHP programs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, ensuring trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and manage medications
• Collaborate with clinical team members
• Provide supervision and consultation
• Ensure proper documentation complying with regulations
• Participate in team meetings to review client progress

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree, licensed in Georgia
• Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry
• Experience with IOP/PHP or dual-diagnosis preferred
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Schedule & Compensation: Flexible 10–20 hours/week, competitive hourly pay ($60,000–$80,000/year), benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Position involves in-person work.
