Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient role in Alton, IL. The position offers a predictable weekday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call. It is a 100% onsite role in a secure clinical setting with an average caseload of around 22 patients per day.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $210–$225, resulting in an estimated annual salary of $450,000–$470,000.

Responsibilities involve providing psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, documenting clinical notes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include MD or DO, active Illinois medical license, DEA, Illinois Controlled Substance license, and inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
