Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient role in Alton, IL. This position offers a predictable Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call. The role involves working in a secure clinical setting with an average caseload of 22 patients per day. Compensation ranges from $210–$225/hour, totaling approximately $450,000–$470,000 annually. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, documentation, and collaboration with a treatment team.

Qualifications include an MD or DO, active Illinois medical license, DEA, and Controlled Substance license. Prior inpatient experience is preferred. This role provides stability, consistent hours, and excellent compensation without on-call duties.
