Job Description

Seeking a licensed, board-certified (or eligible) psychiatrist for a full-time role in a community mental health clinic serving adults with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and co-occurring conditions.

The position offers a salary of $229,000–$235,000 annually, with a flexible schedule (Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, 30-40 hours/week).

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, managing complex medications, fostering recovery-oriented, person-centered care, and developing wellness programs. The role involves interdisciplinary leadership, supervision, and community engagement, with opportunities for an academic appointment.

Qualifications include Massachusetts medical licensure, DEA and controlled substance certificates, experience with targeted diagnoses, and a commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
