Job Description

A reputable health organization is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Psychiatrist and Medical Director for their inpatient program.

Position Overview: This senior leadership role combines clinical duties—including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and emergency response—with administrative responsibilities such as providing clinical oversight, staff mentorship, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role partners with executive teams to enhance patient outcomes, quality improvement, and program development.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychiatric assessments and treatment planning
• Providing daily rounds and responding to emergencies
• Leading clinical and administrative teams
• Ensuring compliance with CMS, The Joint Commission, and other standards
• Overseeing quality assurance, documentation, and staff development

Qualifications: MD or DO, Board Certified in Psychiatry, active medical license, inpatient experience preferred, and prior leadership experience is a plus.
