Psychiatrist and Medical Director

Job Description

Seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Psychiatrist & Medical Director for an inpatient program. This senior role combines direct patient care with strategic leadership, overseeing clinical services, ensuring compliance, and promoting quality improvement.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and emergency responses.

Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and oversee staffing and recruitment.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, participate in quality initiatives, and conduct audits.

Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and uphold ethical, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications: MD/DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry, active license, inpatient experience preferred, leadership experience a plus.
