Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our independent small animal hospital in Wiltshire for weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday, 2:00pm-8:30pm).
As a Weekend Ward Nurse, you will support inpatient care, monitor patients, assist with admissions, and provide high-quality clinical support during the transition from day to night. From 6:30pm, you will work independently alongside an ANA and Duty Vet, managing emergencies, inpatient monitoring, and ensuring continuity of care with effective handovers. The role offers flexible weekend working, part-time hours (6-12 per week), competitive pay (£31,000-£33,000 DOE), and benefits including CPD funding, wellbeing initiatives, and development opportunities.
