RN Supervisor

Job Description

This position oversees and supervises nursing care for residents, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting residents’ medical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.

Essential functions include planning and directing resident care, administering medications, performing assessments, and ensuring infection control.

Administrative duties involve supervising staff, participating in hiring and training, managing supplies, and ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications include a valid nursing license, at least one year of long-term care experience, CPR certification, and strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

The role requires adherence to policies, confidentiality, teamwork, and the ability to evaluate and document resident care effectively. The supervisor reports to the Director of Nursing Services and works to promote a safe, supportive environment.
