Job Description

We seek an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to join as a Lead Late Ward Nurse in our independent small animal hospital in Wiltshire. This full-time role (40 hours/week, 12:00pm–8:30pm) involves overseeing inpatient care, coordinating ward operations, supporting discharge processes, and ensuring high clinical standards during afternoons and evenings. You will work alongside a supportive team, delegate tasks, and provide hands-on care, especially in preparing patients for out-of-hours transfer. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, organisational skills, and effective communication.
