Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse – Lead Late Ward Nurse

Job Description

We seek an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to join our independent small animal hospital in Wiltshire as a Lead Late Ward Nurse.

In this full-time role (12:00pm–8:30pm), you’ll oversee inpatient care, coordinate ward activities, support discharge processes, and ensure high clinical standards during afternoon and evening shifts.

Key responsibilities include managing inpatient handovers, allocating nursing resources, supporting clinical treatments, and preparing patients for out-of-hours handover, all while working closely with the team.

Ideal candidates will have strong clinical knowledge, leadership experience, excellent organisation, decision-making skills, and a collaborative approach.
