Job Description
We seek an experienced, RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to join our independent small animal hospital in Wiltshire as a Lead Late Ward Nurse.
£34,000–£36,000 DOE, full-time 40 hours/week, working 12:00pm–8:30pm with weekend shifts on a 1-in-7 rotation.
Role involves overseeing inpatient care, coordinating ward activities, supporting discharge processes, and ensuring high clinical standards during evenings.
Responsibilities include managing inpatient handovers, delegating workload, supporting clinical treatments, and preparing patients for out-of-hours care.
Requires strong clinical knowledge, leadership, delegation, organisational skills, and effective communication.
