Job Description
We seek an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to join our small animal hospital in Wiltshire as a Lead Late Ward Nurse.
Manage and oversee inpatient care during the afternoon and evening shifts, supporting discharge and hospital flow. Coordinate workload, support clinical staff, and maintain high standards of patient care and documentation. Work hands-on with inpatient treatments, monitoring, and preparations for out-of-hours handover. Support team communication, resource allocation, and ensure smooth ward operations. Full-time role (40 hours/week) with weekend rotations; no out-of-hours work required. Requires leadership experience, strong clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and effective communication.
