Job Description
We seek an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to serve as Lead Late Ward Nurse in a well-equipped small animal hospital in Wiltshire.
Lead and coordinate inpatient care, supporting discharge processes and hospital flow during afternoons and evenings. Maintain oversight of all inpatients, delegate tasks, and ensure high clinical and documentation standards. Support handovers, treatments, and patient readiness for out-of-hours teams. Work 40 hours/week, 12:00pm–8:30pm, with weekend shifts on a rotating basis. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical knowledge, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills.
