Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse – Lead Late Ward Nurse

Job Description

We seek an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to join our independent small animal hospital in Wiltshire as a Lead Late Ward Nurse.

In this full-time role (12:00pm–8:30pm), you’ll oversee inpatient care, coordinate ward activities, support discharge processes, and ensure smooth hospital flow during afternoons and evenings.

Key responsibilities include managing inpatient handovers, allocating resources, guiding the nursing team, and preparing patients for out-of-hours care, all while maintaining high clinical standards.
