Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse – Lead Late Ward Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership skills to join our small animal hospital in Wiltshire as a Lead Late Ward Nurse.

**Responsibilities include:**
• Overseeing inpatient care and hospital flow during the afternoon and evening
• Supporting discharge processes and ensuring high standards of clinical documentation
• Delegating tasks and maintaining strong team coordination
• Providing hands-on inpatient treatments and monitoring
• Preparing patients for handover to out-of-hours teams

**Working hours:** 40 hours/week, 12:00pm–8:30pm, with weekend rotation and no out-of-hours duty.

**Ideal candidate:** Proven leadership, strong clinical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and effective decision-making.
