Job Description

The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, adhering to professional standards of practice.

They apply growth and development principles to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and staff is essential, emphasizing teamwork to promote hope, health, and healing in line with organizational values.

Education required: Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. Experience preferred: at least six months of related training or work.

Certifications and licenses required: CCC from ASHA, current NE state speech pathology license or in CFY, and BLS certification from AHA.
