Job Description
The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, adhering to established standards of practice.
They apply growth and developmental principles across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, working collaboratively with customers, patients, physicians, and staff to promote teamwork.
Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA or in progress, and a valid state license. BLS certification from the AHA is also required.
The role emphasizes delivering compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with organizational values to foster hope, health, and healing for all stakeholders. Experience of at least six months preferred.
