Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore and maximize patient function.

Performs assessments, develops treatment plans, and treats patients across all ages, ensuring respectful and culturally sensitive care.

Documents treatments, communicates with healthcare team and families, and collaborates with other departments for optimal patient outcomes.

Participates in performance improvement, safety, and educational activities, maintaining departmental standards and personal competency.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Kentucky licensure, and preferably experience with geriatric patients.

Requires good interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina for daily activities. Ability to work full-time, in person, in Ironton, OH, with relocation if needed.
