The staff Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) treats individuals of all ages with cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include conducting screenings, assessments, developing care plans, and providing outpatient and inpatient therapy. The SLP collaborates with healthcare team members, consults with patients and families, and documents progress per standards of practice.


Key duties involve evaluating patients promptly, creating and updating treatment plans, addressing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing issues, and instructing patients and families. The SLP may supervise therapy aides and participate in community education. Requirements include a valid Idaho SLP license, BLS certification, and ASHA membership is preferred.
