The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive services to patients of all ages, addressing communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, developing and updating treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient therapy for diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric cases.
- Conduct evaluations promptly, review medical records, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Address speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions, and educate patients and families.
- Supervise therapy aides, document progress in EMR, and participate in community education.
- Maintain licensure, CPR certification, and optional ASHA membership.
