SPEECH THERAPIST

Job Description

The Speech Therapist conducts assessments and develops individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing abilities.

They implement and supervise therapeutic activities, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure integrated care.

Key responsibilities include documentation, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to professional and organizational policies.

They must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and maintain professional licensure and ongoing development.

Physical requirements include good sensory capabilities and the ability to work flexible hours and travel with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, state licensure, and certification from a recognized professional body. Prior experience in home health is preferred.
