Job Description

The Social Worker / Therapist provides comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatment, and individualized aftercare planning for residents in a residential setting addressing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

  • Conducts assessments, treatment planning, and delivers clinical care for an assigned caseload.
  • Leads therapy groups weekly using experiential and evidence-based methods.
  • Develops coordinated, compliant treatment and aftercare plans, collaborating with referral resources.
  • Ensures accurate clinical documentation and promotes recovery-oriented interventions.
  • Acts as a clinical resource, participates in supervision, and maintains professional development.
  • Provides on-call clinical coverage as needed, upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Requirements include a master’s-level license (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) with addiction treatment experience and active licensure in Maine. Skills needed are strong clinical judgment, communication, interpersonal abilities, and teamwork. The role is full-time, salaried, with benefits, operating within a residential treatment environment requiring on-call availability. The position offers a salary starting at $95,000 annually.
