Job Description
This full-time Therapeutic Foster Care Therapist role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group counseling to youth, along with clinical consultation to foster parents.
- Ensure compliance with state, contractual, and organizational paperwork requirements.
- Offer crisis stabilization services for clients and foster caregivers.
- Stay current with industry trends through ongoing education and professional development.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in mental health, counseling, or social work, and licensure as a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, marriage and family therapist, or professional counselor. Candidates with a Master’s Degree and supervised clinical experience may qualify.
Reporting to the Program or Regional Director, this exempt position offers a salary of $50,000-$55,000 annually, with benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and professional development assistance. The role requires in-person work in London, KY, with relocation before starting if applicable.
