Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) – Stopwatch Urgent Care, Auburn AL
Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Urgent Care Physician at our Auburn clinic in east-central Alabama.
Expect a rotating 3-4 shift schedule (three 12-hour shifts one week, four the next), competitive pay ($115-$140/hr), no on-call duties, and a top-rated benefits package.
As the primary on-site physician, you’ll manage acute and episodic conditions independently, supported by clinical protocols, a dedicated support team, and access to leadership. Onboarding includes structured clinical orientation.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assess, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients
- Perform procedures like laceration repair, splinting, and wound care
- Order and interpret tests and imaging
- Prescribe medications and educate patients
- Document thoroughly and collaborate with staff
**Schedule & Environment:**
- Average 3-4 patients/hour
- Equipped clinics with diagnostics and EMR
- Rotating weekends, flexible scheduling, no on-call
**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO license in Alabama, board certified/eligible
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred
