Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) – Stopwatch Urgent Care, Phenix City AL

Job Description

Seeking a full-time Urgent Care Physician at our Phenix City clinic on the Alabama-Georgia border.

Expect a rotating 3-4 shift schedule (three 12-hour shifts one week, four the next), with no on-call duties, competitive pay ($115-$140/hr), and a top-rated benefits package.

You will serve as the primary on-site provider, managing acute and episodic care independently, supported by established protocols, clinical leadership, and a dedicated team.

**Clinical Responsibilities:** Assess, diagnose, and treat urgent conditions; perform procedures like laceration repair, abscess drainage, and splinting; interpret labs and imaging; prescribe medications; educate patients; document thoroughly.

**Work Environment:** Fully equipped clinics with on-site diagnostics, average patient volume of 3-4/hr, accessible leadership, and efficient workflows.

**Schedule & Compensation:** Rotating shifts with advance scheduling, additional shifts available for extra pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), student loan support, PTO, CME allowance, and more.

**Qualifications:** MD or DO licensed or eligible in Alabama, board-certified or eligible in Family, Emergency, or Internal Medicine, with current BLS/ACLS and relevant experience preferred.
