About the Role
A Veterinary Surgeon position offering a structured, fully supported pathway into Emergency and Critical Care (ECC).
The programme includes
8-week training with seminars, practical sessions, and clinical mentorship
Hands-on experience guided by senior clinicians
Training at a central hub in Scotland (accommodation provided)
Networking opportunities with peers
Core skills covered include shock management, fluid therapy, respiratory and neurological emergencies, trauma, surgical labs, blood gas analysis, and clinical decision-making.
Post-training, you can join an ECC clinic on a flexible rota working 30–40 hours/week, with a well-balanced schedule.
Starting salary during training is £42,250, rising to up to £60,000 from week 9.
