Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team at a care facility in Stamford, TX.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits
- Helping residents achieve goals related to cognition and swallowing
- Providing education to residents and caregivers
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing AAC systems for severe communication disorders
- Training clients, families, and staff, and coordinating diagnostic procedures
- Maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Responding to family concerns and collaborating with care staff
Requirements:
- Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA certification
- Good standing with regulatory agencies
